10 Worst Looking Wrestlers In WWE 2K22

While 95% of the game looks brilliant, there are still a few stinkers on WWE 2K22.

With the car crash that was WWE 2K20 having just about thankfully faded from memory, 2K Games has finally brought the world of sports entertainment back to consoles with WWE 2K22. And you know what? It's very much a case of 'so far, so good' for this new release.

The gameplay on 2K22 is nothing if not fun to partake in, with the action feeling more beefier and impactful as the game aims for an arcade-like feel rather than striving to be an all-out wrestling simulator. While the gameplay itself is winning plenty of plaudits, it's also impossible not to be wowed by the audio and visuals of WWE 2K22.

Given the abilities of the PS5 and XBox Series X, it comes with no sense of hyperbole to say that WWE 2K22 is the best looking wrestling game of all time. Aesthetically, this is a delight of a release, with grapplers and arenas looking sensational. Well, for the most part, that is. While a solid 95% of wrestlers look jaw-droppingly accurate to their real-life counterparts, there are still a handful of superstars whose character models are somewhat lacking.

On that topic, then, here are the ten worst looking wrestlers on this latest WWE console offering.

10. Randy Savage

Across the past decade or so of WWE video games, one of the superstars whose likeness has been struggled to truly be captured correctly is Randy Savage.

With the impressive graphics offered up by the PS5 and Xbox Series X, the Macho Man has never looked better. The problem is, he still doesn't look right.

In terms of his attire, his movements, his moveset, his frenetic in-ring aggression and his body shape, Savage looks great on WWE 2K22. As ever, the problem comes in the face of the three-time WWE Champion.

Randy Savage looks a lot more like Randy Savage that he has on other recent console releases, but the face of the WWE Hall of Famer still doesn't sit well. And again like in those other releases, a big part of that comes down to his hair. With essentially a short fringe in place to accompany the rest of his shoulder-length hairdo, it's a jarring visual that can prove distracting when you're looking to do battle as the legendary Macho Man.

Still, one Savage-based bonus is that his WrestleMania VII attire is easily found in the Creation Suite, plus his model looks immediately better if you add a headband to it.
