10 Worst PlayStation Plus Games So Far

Is it wrong to complain about 'free' games? Not when they're this bad, no.

Since the inception of the Playstation Plus monthly service, subscribers have helped themselves to over two hundred free games in Sony's instant collection. While the first few months weren't exactly perfect storms of titles that people were waiting on, there was always something worthwhile to try out. As time has gone on however, people have become less inclined to think so. No longer an optional service just for those who want it, you're now forced to pay for PS+ if you want to use any online multiplayer on the Playstation 4. This new paywall meant that Sony wouldn't have to try as hard to get subscriptions anymore, and it shows. Even before the release of the PS4, there were signs of things taking a downward curve, too. There used to be a special promotion one month of the year where every new game added to the service was a AAA title that would be available all year. Days before this was set to roll out though, Sony removed the promotion entirely, saying it would give them 'more options' throughout the year. Somehow, that's translated into 'more art performances disguised as games', instead of anything people might have actually wanted. I want to make it clear before we go forward, I'm not saying all of the games on this list are inherently bad. Many certainly are, but this is about titles that just shouldn't have been added to the Playstation Plus to promote the service in the first place, especially in comparison to Microsoft's rival Games for Gold program.
