No one can complain about Batman Arkham Asylum, it was a heavily praised game and deservedly so. But its a shame that people who bought the collectors edition were left disappointed. You got a making off documentary and some DLC but from the very first preview pictures, it was the Batarang replica that got people preordering the Collectors Edition. And I include myself in that. High with anticipation, I quickly opened the box to get my hands on the replica of the Batarang. But the excitement didn't last long and I still remember the feeling off being totally ripped off. The Batarang was made from the cheapest plastic imaginable, it had no weight to it and the last thing I wanted to do was put it on display. Don't get me wrong, I understand that they could not ship a metal Batarang in the box because it could be used as a lethal weapon but that doesn't mean they had to go to the other end of the spectrum and give you something that looks and feel amateurish. And for an extra kick in the teeth, the European collectors edition didn't have the nice Batarang shaped case the Americans got to put their replica in. Europeans also didn't get a leather cover for the journal and the game disc came in a cardboard case so you couldn't stack it with the rest of your collection. Even though the game is highly recommended, the same cant be said for its collectors edition.
