11 Best Mortal Kombat Fatalities Ever
3. Face Grind - Kung Lao
Kung Lao has been a stalwart of the Mortal Kombat series, and his signature razor-rimmed hat has been the focal-point of his attacks.
In the very first Mortal Kombat, Kung Lao used the hat to great effect when he sliced his opponent right down the middle with it. In Mortal Kombat II he threw it like a boomerang that cut his opponent's head off, followed by their torso, then their legs. In Shaolin Monks he pulled a rabbit out of the hat, which then ate his opponent's face off.
The best ever use of the accessory-turned-weapon came in MKX, when he sticks it into the ground, spinning like a buzzsaw. He then throws his opponent down in front of it, and pushes them face-first into the hat, slicing their head in two.
It's the hardest to watch because the foe struggles against being shoved onto the blade, before hitting it once and bouncing off, before being thrust into it one last time. It's extremely graphic and easily Kung Lao's most deadly Fatality (to date).
