12 Most Bafflingly Awful Movie Tie-In Games You Ever Played
2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Mega Drive/SNES)
What It Should Have Been: One of the best action films of all time should get a game befitting its greatness, right? Given how many set-pieces James Cameron's film contains, it shouldn't be difficult to make some awesome levels out of them, right? What It Actually Was: There were so many different attempts to make a good game out of this brilliant movie, and yet not one of them really managed it. This side-scrolling attempt happens to be the worst, placing us in all of the relevant T2 situations, but forcing players to also perform countless fetch quests for "future objects" to distend the gameplay further, and go through absurdly difficult driving sections which cause the most Game Over screens no matter who you are. How can such a great action movie give birth to such a horrible game? It truly boggles the mind.
