Details on Death Stranding are currently scarce, as we have only had two highly abstract trailer to work from. A few famous faces including Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen are attached to the project but in terms of the game's narrative, it's completely unclear.

Kojima has spoken a lot about "strands" and "connections" being the central theme of the game, and has confirmed that it will be running on the Decima engine, created in collaboration with Horizon: Zero Dawn's Guerrilla Games.

We last saw Death Stranding at the Game Awards in December 2016 as part of the Playstation Experience, showing us the latest trailer for the game.

Now, it must be said that Kojima has mentioned Death Stranding won't be at E3, but the man is known for his surprises, and will still have a segment alongside Geoff Keighley.

Although the project is still early in development we may not see any gameplay, but Kojima will likely reveal a new trailer and more details on Death Stranding.
