12 Obvious Reasons 2015’s Most Hyped Video Games Will Fail

2. No Man's Sky - Too Much Hype

With the amount of coverage No Man€™s Sky has enjoyed since its initial announcement, the title from the indie game developers at Hello Games is more or less being treated as a triple A exclusive release by both fans and Sony themselves. Which is a problem, because players have projected their own ideas of what they want No Man€™s Sky to be, rather than looking at how it€™s actually going to play once it finally comes out. Although the game is admittedly ambitious, with its procedurally generated galaxy boasting almost endless amounts of content and variation, just what you€™re actually supposed to do on these uncharted planets remains a mystery. So far, it€™s looking like No Man€™s Sky isn€™t going to be the feature packed game-changing title players want it to be. And how could it be? Hello Games is a small team with limited resources, and there€™s simply no way their release is going to be the mammoth 10/10 across the board perfect game many people are expecting.
