12 Obvious Reasons 2015’s Most Hyped Video Games Will Fail

3. Hitman - Lack Of Content

With the upcoming Hitman reboot (re-imaging? Sequel? Like much of the game, even its name has raised a lot of questions no one has really answered) releasing digitally on PS4 and Xbox One this December, fans haven't stopped wondering as to what€™s actually going to be included in the initial release. Although the developers have promised that the upcoming game with feature locations bigger than any other Hitman title to date, they've been decidedly unclear as to how beefy of a release this new entry is going to be. Weirdly, the developers simply haven€™t told players what the game is actually going to be. At one point there were thoughts that the new title would be episodic in nature, a fact which was backed up by the way it€™s releasing digitally first. However, since then Square Enix has cleared up that the game won€™t be an episodic release in the conventional sense but will feature €œepisodic elements€ €“ whatever that means. As a result, until the confusion that€™s surrounded the game since its first announcement is cleared up, fans of the series just won€™t be confident in putting down their money for this new entry. How could they, when they don€™t have a clue what they€™re actually paying for?
