12 Worst Video Game Moments Of The Decade (So Far)

11. Realising Metal Gear Solid V Really Is Unfinished

Speaking of Metal Gear Solid and Hideo Kojima, the latter's tiff with Konami's top brass ended up getting him fired from the company at the start of 2015 - the repercussions of which you can feel once you're a few hours into MGS V. Now I must point out, The Phantom Pain is still an absolutely outstanding game, but considering the huge amount of content that's been dug up through the PC version's files and across the accompanying mobile app - it's just too obvious that substantial amounts of the game were literally sliced off due to Konami wanting it on store shelves. That's resulted in a butchered story with an ending fans are still scratching their heads to make sense of, various missions, characters and integral features wiped out - and one gargantuan plot thread simply left dangling even after the credits roll. MGS V is spectacular by virtue of Kojima and his team making the best of a bad situation, but as soon as you see what it could've been... man, try not feeling anything but utter disappointment.
