Say what you will about most of the films on this list, mock them as you will, disagree with their ranking, but one thing is clear: they are all bad films. Few, though, can be considered boring - just misguided.

Simon West's (Con Air) first live adaptation of the popular female Indiana Jones may well be true to the game's problem solving, adventuring spirit, but it's surprisingly dull. It was released when Hollywood was in the throes of stylized action sequences, conspiracy-inspired plots and insipidly silly ideas. So throwing in a Jonesian adventure film was ideal, and the games proved to be a major success.

Director West later revealed that he hoped to introduce Hollywood to a female-led summer blockbuster (Jolie wasn't a commodity at the time) and open the door to more action films starring women. His intentions may have been in the right place, and Jolie carries herself well. It's just a shame they didn't have better material on the page.
