6. A Splinter Cell Reboot
Those pesky Wallmart leaks pointed to a Splinter Cell reboot being unveiled at E3 this year, but it pulled a surprising no-show, leading Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot to comment on the company's love for the franchise and their desire to bring it back.
As non-committal as that sounds, the series has been lying dormant since 2013's commercially underwhelming Splinter Cell: Blacklist, so it's hard to imagine the franchise-savvy Ubisoft keeping this one on the back-burner for much longer.
With a Michael Ironside-voiced Sam Fisher recently making an appearance in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Splinter Cell trademarks being filed last year, there's most certainly a new entry into the franchise in some stage of development.
Predicted Release Date: Take your pick, honestly. We'll go for an E3 2019 reveal and a March 2020 release, but anything is possible here.
