2. LittleBigPlanet
Play. Create. Share. Once again, a video game with emphasis on user-control makes our list of the most ghoulish games to play on Halloween. LittleBigPlanet doesn't focus much on storyline, but more than makes up for it with its emphasis on gameplay. You control Sackboy (or Sackperson if you're gender neutral) whose rag-doll features are reminiscent of Sally from the Nightmare before Christmas. In fact, some of the realms of LittleBigPlanet are highly reminiscent of the town of Halloween. Among them are a Halloween carnival, a haunted mansion, and "Jack-o-lantern Junction." Even many normal levels have a very "underneath your bed" type of feel. Sony has provided tons of downloadable content so there's a lot one can do to celebrate the spookiest of holidays. Whether you dress your character up to resemble a vampire, ghost, or pumpkinhead, the spirit of Halloween is strong with LittleBigPlanet. You'll experience a great deal of entertainment with LittleBigPlanet no matter how you choose to play the game but there's no better time than now to engage in some spine-chilling fun.
