MetaCritic Score: 87 What It Deserved: 67 There's no point arguing with Forza 6 from a visual perspective: it is a gorgeous-looking racer, but sadly invites mostly boredom during its uninspired career mode, which largely consists of sluggish, overlong races ad nauseum. Still, at least the rewind feature means you won't need to tirelessly repeat races just to get a suitable finish, The depth of customisation is certainly appreciated and the higher-speed vehicles add some break-neck fun, but the majority of the time spent in serious competition will ultimately be a fairly joyless sprint where, more often than not, you'll leave your opponents effortlessly in the dust. Real petrolheads might find it more engaging than casual players, but there's the distinct feeling that the "simulator" genre is sorely in need of a title that manages to be technical and massively fun all at the same time. Forza 6 is a well-designed racing game where, hilariously, the worst thing about it is the racing.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
