3. The Armoured Car Chase (A Thief's End)
Even though it was shown off time and time again in the run up to Uncharted 4's release, the multi-layered chase that has you rescuing Sam from incoming mercenaries still managed to be the single greatest level in the entire game.
It just has everything: from a driving section at the beginning to being dragged on the ground through oncoming fire by a truck right back to leaping from car-to-car in hand-to-hand combat, this chase nailed every single aspect that makes Uncharted's combat so satisfying.
And it accomplishes it all in one flowing action scene that never lets up. All of these mini sections flow naturally together, as you're funnelled through a gigantic level causing an insane amount of destruction and coming into contact with more than a few near-death experiences.
It took longer than we'd hoped, but with the armoured car chase Uncharted 4 provided gamers with their first real "next-gen" moment.
