15 Best Moments In The Uncharted Series

4. Uncharted 4's Epilogue (A Thief's End)

Uncharted 4's epilogue is everything you want a gaming ending to be. Flash-forwarding years into the future, the game puts you in the hands of Elena and Drake's teenage daughter, as you walk around the family home reading notes and looking through photos that fill you in on the events you've missed over the past few years.

And instead of going the ambiguous route ala Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 4 makes an attempt to wrap up every last plot thread. But it never feels forced: you get just the right amount of information for every character to give them a proper send off, allowing you to fill in the blanks and leaving room for any further revelations to be explored later on down the line.

Ultimately the epilogue definitively puts a pin in the entire franchise, linking every single game in the series while providing a lovely wrap-around of the whole experience in the process. This is how you end an iconic gaming story - especially one as unashamedly sentimental as Uncharted.
