15 Best Moments In The Uncharted Series

10. The Crash Bandicoot Cameo (A Thief's End)

Uncharted 4 Crash Bandicoot
Naughty Dog

There can't have been a player alive who got to the Crash Bandicoot section in Uncharted 4 and didn't have a huge smile on their face. Hell, just seeing Drake and Elena boot up the old PS1 and getting to see and hear that original screen and music was already a treat, but being able to play the game that first put Naughty Dog on the map - that was something absolutely nobody expected.

Although just seeing the game at all was enough to bring back nostalgic memories, there was also a sense that Naughty Dog had come full circle, being an example of just how much the developers have evolved over the years. Likewise the way sequences in Crash mimic later set-pieces in Uncharted was a brilliant touch too of course, showing that no matter how much things change with time and technology, some ideas are just timeless.

Also, it comes back around right and the end to prove that its inclusion is more than just an easter egg, but an actual thematic link between the past and present. It's the best thing Crash has done in years.
