10. Battle Royale Modes Are EVERYWHERE

The Prediction: By the time the year is done with, Battle Royale modes will have infested many major AAA franchises, and you'll probably be sick of them.

Why It Will Happen: For starters, PUBG has proven just how much people love Battle Royale as a concept, and it can be adapted into so many different types of game. If 2018 passes and the likes of Battlefield 1, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Star Wars Battlefront II, Metal Gear Survive, Far Cry 5 and the new Call of Duty game don't get Battle Royale modes, it'd be hugely shocking.

Why It Might Not: It's tough to fathom, but maybe, just maybe, the Battle Royale craze will start to die down as the year drags on, or maybe PUBG Corporation somehow manages to file a lawsuit which prevents any other games using the mode (yeah, right).
