7. Julius Aghahowa
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NSt8q33Qxs A real Championship Manager legend, Aghahowa first turned up in-game whilst at Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk. The young Nigerian was lightning fast, extremely promising and available for a fairly modest fee. He was consistent and by and large he tended to stay injury free. He has become a true legend within the CM/FM community with countless fan pages created in memory of his virtual exploits, particularly in CM 01-02. Things started well for Aghahowa in reality too, when in his first season he helped Shakhtar to clinch the Ukrainian Championship. He stayed with the club for six years and played a large part in their 2006 title win, scoring a late winner in a key game against title challengers Dynamo Kyiv. Aghahowa did make a move to England with Wigan Athletic, but this move turned out to be anything but prosperous for the Nigerian speed merchant. He may have won trophies and scored important goals in his long career, but there is no doubting Aghahowa never really lived up to expectations.
