15 Greatest Multiplayer Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)
1. Rocket League
Going into Rocket League nobody had any idea that a small indie release that combined football and cars would be any good at all, never mind the best online game of the decade so far.
And yet Rocket League's explosive racing quickly captured the hearts of gamers around the globe. Boasting an unbelievably well-balanced game of football that had a surprising level of depth to it, it didn't take long for word of mouth to spread and for players to round up dedicated teams of their friends and jump straight into Rocket League's lobbies.
Plus you don't even have to be good at the game to have fun with it. Some of the funniest online moments I've ever been a part of came when our team was losing terribly, 7-0 down and desperate for a comeback, only to end up watching my friend's botched mid-air strike ago sailing into our own goal.
Although everything from high profile releases from Blizzard to the most financially successful video game of all time have came out in the past few years, none have been good enough to dethrone this little indie game that could.
