15 Impossible PlayStation Trophies Nobody Unlocked
6. Killzone 2 - "Valor Citation"
Like most respectable multiplayer shooters these days, Killzone 2's online component came with a wide array of leaderboards and stats menus so you could keep track of how well your performances were every single week. Going one step further, at the end of each seven day period the game would give you an honor rank to signify how well you stacked up against other players over the same week.
Likewise the title had trophies that corresponded with these honor ranks you could achieve, although getting a #1 rank would require you to go the extra mile, being in the top 10% of however many players were online in the same period. Of course this was doable when the game was at its peak in 2009 because the more players that would be online in every given week would mean that 10% margin grew even wider, even if it meant you had more competition.
As the years went on this achievement has become rarer and rarer as Killzone 2's player base dwindled. After all, its quite difficult to break into that top 10% of players if the only people left actually playing the game are the hardcore fans.
