15 Predictions For 2015's Biggest Video Games

6. Star Wars: Battlefront Takes The New Multiplayer Crown

Star Wars Battlefront We were all gutted when the impressive-looking Star Wars 1313 was cancelled in April of last year, yet at least LucasArts didn't wait long to cheer us up, by announcing at E3 2013 the release of Star Wars: Battlefront, a reimagining of the classic multiplayer franchise. Though little is known about the game and the fact that Electronic Arts are publishing it will send shivers up the spines of many gamers, if the new Battlefront is half as much fun as the previous games, it should be a total blast. Still, at their best, DICE have developed some of the best multiplayer games of the last few years, and with a property as crucial and lucurative as Star Wars, we have little doubt that they're going to deliver a jaw-dropping multiplayer experience. Hell, even if it was essentially just a better-looking Battlefront II remake with more players per server, that'd be enough for us to be totally satisfied. It almost certainly won't be able to compete with Call of Duty's sales figures, but it could win the moral war, by garnering stronger reviews and winning a loyal, loving fanbase.
