15 Upcoming Games To Make An Xbox One Worth Buying
15. Rise Of The Tomb Raider
After the enormous success of Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider reboot last year, it was little surprise to see the sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider, announced at this year's E3 conference. Ignore the awkward title and the CGI trailer implies that while Lara is still haunted by the trauma of her first adventure, she's also going to be doing a little more actual tomb raiding this time around, hopefully making for a globe-trotting outing in line with the original series, while still retaining the gritty, Uncharted-style gameplay from the reboot. The game's announcement as a timed exclusive has proven incredibly controversial with gamers, especially considering that the franchise was born on the PlayStation in the first place, and so some have seen it as a "betrayal" that the platform's rivals get the first look. Still, everyone will get to play it eventually, and PS4 owners will simply have to make do with Uncharted 4 in the mean time. Xbox One owners, meanwhile, will be first to sink their teeth into what will hopefully deliver a bigger, better reprise of the previous game, with more psychological complexity and diverse levels. Release Date: Holiday 2015 Also Available On: Xbox 360, with PS3, PS4 and PC (probably) at a later date
