There is going to be no better incentive to own a PS4, though, than for the fourth (and possibly final) entry into the Uncharted franchise, A Thief's End. A teaser trailer reportedly rendered on the PS4 was shown off at E3, giving players their first jaw-dropping glimpse at next-gen Nathan Drake. If the visuals truly can live up to that teaser, then Uncharted 4 is going to wipe the floor with anything else released in 2015, visually if not mechanically as well. Given the series' devotion to brilliantly-realised set-pieces, there's no reason to expect Naughty Dog to deliver any different here, and with the most photo-realistic graphics the series has yet to offer, gamers should get ready to have their minds blown all over again. If there's any video game series that lives up to the promise of being an interactive, mega-budget blockbuster movie, it's Uncharted.
