15 Upcoming Video Games You'll Play Even If The Reviews Are Terrible

15. Final Fantasy XV

Release Date: Late 2015 or early 2016. The Buzz: The first core entry into the series since 2010's tremendously disappointing Final Fantasy XIII, boasting gorgeous graphics on new-gen hardware, as well as the ability to use vehicles. A darker, more realistic tone has also been promised. Why It Could Suck: There hasn't been an especially memorable Final Fantasy game since Final Fantasy X in 2001, and though this new game looks great, it's tough to expect much from the characters or story, which Square Enix have been phoning in for years now. Why You'll Play It Anyway: Because it's Final Fantasy, and you buy every single one regardless of what critics say. After the Fabula Nova Crystallis trilogy, you're thirsty for a new direction, and if nothing else, the game looks like it'll give your console of choice a decent workout.
