10. Charlie's Runny Eggs Debacle
More live-action weirdness, now: the lovely Fiona Miller (Mimi Michaels) visits Charlie in the very first episode, bringing him an egg sandwich which she promises isn't the runny kind.
Naturally, the two share some more banter, and when the scene cuts back later, poor Charlie bites into his sandwich, which is runny of course, and spills all over him.
I mean, it's a vaguely amusing gag and all, but it's weird how much focus is put on it: it doesn't seem to add anything to the story or character development, yet the shot lingers on the eggy goodness for a few more seconds than is either necessary or comfortable. Strange.
