10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Release Date: May 19. What It's About: The third RPG video game adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski's series of fantasy novels, again following protagonist Geralt of Rivia, this time in his final journey as he faces off against an immense army known as the Wild Hunt. The Buzz: CD Projekt RED have done no wrong so far in their work on this series, and so expectations are high for the climactic entry. The combat has been completely refined, and a number of new mechanics such as riding on horseback and swimming underwater have been introduced. The map is said to be 30 times larger than the previous games' and even 20% bigger than Skyrim's. Will It Be Any Good?: Almost certainly. There's little reason to doubt them, and considering the game was delayed twice from its original Autumn 2014 release date to May suggests a meticulous approach to ensuring the product's quality. A possible Game of the Year winner for sure.
