I say it is black and white, but the colour red features quite prominently, too, as you battle your way through a series of "Blood Bath" challenges which allow you to impale your foes on a wall of spikes.

You can decapitate enemies, if you unlock the perk to do so, whilst watching a slow motion cut scene of your enemies head being sliced off before rolling onto the floor. You can also shoot enemies with arrows, stab them with daggers, beat people to death with your bare hands and also watch cut scenes of people being executed by guards. Let's not forget the burned corpses we stumble upon in forts, the ability to maul and eat people as a werewolf or being able to set our enemies on fire or disintegrate them with spells.
