Though Rockstar have caught plenty of flak from right-wing commentators and enterprising lawyers, they've also had a few encounters with the rich and famous themselves. Firstly, 50 Cent insisted that he had been approached by Rockstar to voice CJ in San Andreas but turned it down on the basis that he would only want to play himself in a video game (which later happened with the terrible Bulletproof and slightly better Blood on the Sand), though Rockstar vehemently denied this. Much more controversial was Lindsay Lohan's frivolous lawsuit against Rockstar, claiming that the minor character Lacey Jonas (an anorexic actress constantly being hounded by the media) was modeled on her likeness, as was the above image of a woman used heavily in promotional materials for the game. One particularly outrageous claim in Lohan's suit is that she has been "using the peace sign hand gesture for years before and after its use in the video game", and it's clearly just a desperate attempt to keep herself in the public eye as her fame is bottoming out.
