Sticking with MGS 3, one of the most inventive of all the Metal Gear eggs can be found at The End boss. When you first find legendary sniper The End hes having a nice old sleep, bless him, but for some reason, just before the final showdown, Snake wakes him up, to which the old boy jokes that his slumber would be eternal if you hadnt roused him from it. And thats no joke, quite the opposite, it is in fact a very subtle clue that if you save just before you get to him, switch the game off and then go to your PlayStation's internal clock and skip on several months, youve actually done him in. Once reloaded youll find The End has withered and died in his sleep. Well played Kojima, well played.
