20 Missable NPCs That Give You Incredible Rewards

Given the hundreds of unique NPCs and thousands of interactions with them in Baldur's Gate 3, it's virtually impossible to meet every NPC in the game in a single run.

In fact, chances are that only the select few know of the secret genie fight that can be triggered underneath the gods' temple in Baldur's Gate, let alone of how they can walk away with their overpowered weapons at the end of that encounter. 

At the Stormshore Tabernacle, if you're a cleric of Helm and steal from the donation box in the basement, you will receive a curse from your god. Removing the curse with a heal spell while inside the temple will secretly spawn the only two units of generic genies in the game, who immediately attack you.

Now, normally after the fight is over, these secret mini-bosses don't leave any loot, but if you kill them outside of the basement and then long rest, they will each drop a bag containing the Djinni Scimitar, which deals an additional 1d6 fire and a whopping 2d10 poison damage with each hit, arguably being the strongest one-handed melee weapon in the game.

The wrath of gods can be pretty useful if you know how to trick it.
