20 Missable NPCs That Give You Incredible Rewards

14. Titanic Lifeforms - Stellaris

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Paradox

Stellaris, Paradox's sci-fi grand strategy, allows you to design your very own alien civilization and then explore an entire galaxy brimming with other alien life forms.

However, only the lucky ones will be able to have an encounter of the third kind with giants.

While surveying planets in the galaxy, you may have the rare opportunity to come across a planet inhabited by gargantuan life forms.

Upon colonizing their planet, you will unlock the ability to research these titan-sized aliens, and depending on the outcome, your new neighbors might reward you with something great—themselves.

If you choose to coexist with the giants and then train them for combat, you will unlock the ability to recruit giant armies from your colony, which come with absolutely busted combat stats. On top of that, the planet with the Titanic lifeforms will gain a permanent boost to its Society research.

A single unit of giants can do the job of several of your regular armies while barely losing any health, which is probably why on each save file you will very rarely see more than one planet with Titanic life forms on the entire map.
