20 Most Powerful Video Game Weapons Ever

13. The Gravity Gun (Half-Life 2)

It should come as no surprise - even to those unfamiliar with Half-Life - that the gravity gun gets a spot on this list. Whenever you make something that can control gravity, you officially win at life.

The Gravity Gun, though technically meant for solving puzzles, has a lot more uses for the clever to implement. This is Half-Life after all, so the game is more than happy to reward you for your experimentation. That reward being the ability to slice Combine in half by picking up sawblades with your Gravity Gun and then firing them with the force of a bullet.

With the Gravity Gun, pretty much anything you find becomes a cannonball of death, whether it be some rubble, a steel crate, or any amount of sharp pointy objects. It may not seem that impressive, but try thinking that when you blast a combine cruiser out of the sky with an explosive barrel that you catapult at it at a hundred miles per hour.

Shock of shocks, controlling the force of gravity itself is pretty damn addicting.
