20 Most Powerful Video Game Weapons Ever

12. The Aegis (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)

No JRPG is complete without the all powerful maguffin weapon (as we'll more thoroughly discuss later on). And Xenoblade Chronicles 2 puts an interesting spin on this age old trope. Technically speaking, the Aegis is both a weapon, and a person.

It's a long as hell story (get used to that with Xenoblade lore) so we won't go into it too far. But bottom line is that the Aegis combines an almighty character (Aegis herself) with an almighty weapon (the Aegis blades) to make one big almighty...thing.

And we mean it when we call the Aegis that. Capable of destroying entire Titans (who, in this game, are so big that entire continents worth of people actually live on them) with a single blow, the Aegis are not to be trifled with. And that's not even taking into account the fact that the Aegis can grow even more powerful, evolving into more forms than a Saiyan on steroids.
