20 Reasons The Year's Biggest Video Games Might Suck

2. Call Of Duty 2015 Fails To Reinvent The Formula

Release Date: November The Hype: The latest Call of Duty game from Treyarch, and given that their last two games in the series have both been Black Ops titles, will they be returning to the well one more time, or perhaps trying out something completely new? Nothing is known so far, though going by the usual CoD schedule, fans will be greeted with their first trailer within the next 3 or 4 weeks. Why It Might Suck: Last year's Advanced Warfare changed the game so sufficiently that the next CoD game will need to bring something truly special to the table to compete. Will Treyarch include the Exo-Suit which was so popular in the previous title, or are they looking to introduce their own special new gimmick? It's possible Treyarch may do neither, releasing another garden variety CoD effort which doesn't challenge the status quo and is therefore quickly forgotten, much like 2013's thoroughly mediocre Ghosts. They would do well to rope in another A-list talent for the campaign mode just as the previous game did with Kevin Spacey.
