6. Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles Remaster

This one was so easy to peg, because Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles wasn't exactly a good game when it released in 2000, so why would a quick-and-easy remaster be any different?

Even with the power of nostalgia goggles and the growing fondness for the Star Wars prequel trilogy among younger generations, it's hard to forgive just how intensely dated Jedi Power Battles is from a gameplay perspective.

Despite some quality-of-life updates - namely modernised controls - the gameplay fundamentals feel just as clunky and stiff as they did 25 years ago, ensuring that neither combat nor platforming are much fun at all.

It's also just as infamously difficult as it was back in 2000, ensuring that frustration will set in after a point, and you might struggle to convince yourself to keep going once the nostalgia wears off - which it will.

Even the most die-hard prequel apologists will probably dip out of this one before the end.
