20 Severely Underrated Pokémon That Deserve A Second Chance

1. Breloom

Snorlax Y/Y
The Pokémon Company

Breloom is seen by many as a precursor for the way Pokémon X & Y's grass starter Chespin turns out, and its Grass/Fighting type combination was unique at its introduction to the series. While Chesnaught may eventually make excellent use of this dual type in latter games as well, Breloom retains one major advantage.

Breloom's Attack stat is phenomenally powerful, making the use of physical attacks supremely useful in any battle. Whether you add status changing grass moves to its moveset or supplement it in your team with something like a Butterfree, Breloom is the perfect surprise package to come along and finish your opponents' injured Pokémon with swift power. Underestimate this little beast at your own peril.

Suggested Moveset:
Seed Bomb
Sky Uppercut
Leech Seed
Brick Break

So, there you have it; twenty Pokémon that you'll want to give a second chance to while you're deciding on your team and strategy ahead of generation seven. Think we've missed anyone? Stick up for your under-appreciated favourites in the comments!
