20 Unlucky Moments That TOTALLY Ruin Your Game
8. Worst Seed Ever - Minecraft
Minecraft is a game of endless possibilities where you can go anywhere you want and build anything your heart desires.
Well, provided you start your game somewhere playable.
Each world in Minecraft is randomly generated off a specific seed, which means that the game has a lot of replay value on one hand but also that every now and then, you might start on a map that will put you in an abysmal spawn point.
Depending on the seed, you might end up on a tiny stone island in the middle of the ocean, a massive desert, or even a huge pit with no means of escape.
You might think that this isn’t so bad, since you can always just try generating a new world, but sometimes the unlucky seed can be maliciously sneaky about why it’s cursed.
For example, the game might spawn with a terrible Nether location that makes all your portals land on top of lava pits or deep underground, or with virtually no resources in the nearby caves.
It’s a complete gamble what world you’re going to get, and if you’re especially unlucky, you might not even realize you’ve spawned in a barren world or a death trap.
