Capcom never rest on their laurels, but they do tend to get stuck in existing IP - with no original games in the past eight years. But their upcoming action-adventure PRAGMATA is about to change that.
The game is set in a world where AI of all kinds is rampant, and protagonist astronaut Hugh must navigate a massive lunar research station, battling robots of every shape and size in an effort to escape and return to the Earth’s surface. But fear not, for he isn’t alone: along for the ride is pint-sized AI Diana, a robot with a small girl’s body and personality, whose electrical and hacking powers help overcome puzzles and enemies equally.
Kind of a Ratchet and Clank for grown-ups, PRAGMATA features gameplay that allows you both protagonist’s abilities in combat and challenges, presented with lush, super realistic graphics. First announced back in 2020, this one has been in the pipeline for a while, but it is finally on the way, and it couldn’t come soon enough!
It will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows in 2026.
