19. Kenny Snaps - The Walking Dead: Season Two

Though The Walking Dead: Season Two is rife with emotional moments, one that stands out is when our heroine, Clementine, reunites with Kenny, a survivor she encountered in the first game. After the death of her parents and her guardian, Lee, Kenny is the closest that Clementine has to a paternal figure.

Even though it's a big moment when Kenny is revealed to be alive, there was another idea that would've hit harder. After Clementine reunites with Kenny, they're captured by a tyrant called William Carver, who rules his community with an iron fist.

As has been discussed during the OMG!Con Q&A in 2015, Clementine was meant to discover Kenny was alive... when he was revealed as the barbaric leader of the survivalist community.

As shocking as this revelation would've been, it's not too hard to believe Kenny would snap. Kenny watched his wife and son die in The Walking Dead: Season One, causing him to grow disillusioned and violent. He ordered the team to desert survivors on multiple occasions, highlighting his loose moral compass.

Although Carver was repurposed as the villain, there are plenty of moments where Kenny behaves antagonistically, including toward Clementine. Nevertheless, it would've been intriguing to see Kenny go full supervillain.
