The second Ant-Man movie has a terrific hook that should make it a more dynamic and interesting follow-up, as it'll team Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) with Hope van Dyne aka The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly).

The MCU could certainly do with more superheroines, so Hope getting suited-up this time is very much welcome, while the film also has ripe parts for Michelle Pfeiffer as the original Wasp, Hope's mother Janet, and Hannah John-Kamen as the villainous Ghost.

Elsewhere, almost the entire supporting cast from the first film will return, while Laurence Fishburne joins the team as superhero Black Goliath. Though returning director Peyton Reed isn't the most inspired of filmmakers, he did a solid job with the first movie, and with the right script, he could quite probably turn in better results this time around.
