That peculiar first trailer may have underwhelmed a lot of Jurassic Park fans, but it's hard to still not be hyped for the fourth entry into the series, helmed by talented indie director Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris freaking Pratt. Jurassic World doesn't exactly have to do much to rise above the mediocre sequels that preceded it, and though it's unlikely that number four will be a bonafide classic like the first, it should skate by just fine on its nostalgic appeal and effects-driven action, which should be decidedly more convincing by the time its release date rolls around. There's naturally a lot invested in this movie, because if it succeeds as the first Jurassic Park movie in 14 years, it'll no doubt kick-start a new trilogy, likely with Pratt as the franchise protagonist. If not? Well, it'd just be business as usual for a franchise that's never had much forward momentum anyway.
