His legendary tale has been ripped from side to side by writers, directors and most everyone who admittedly refers to him or herself as an author of epics. So, why hasn't his name made its mark in the world of video games? I think its mostly due to the fact that audiences have seen it all before. From sirens to cyclops to the underworld, Odysseus has left such a strong legacy on the industry without having ever been credited directly. What would Homer say? It is definitely apparent that we may very well see a brave developer present gamers with a title that presents Odysseus' epic adventures but until that day we'll just have to wait. _______________________
