5 Video Game Loading Screens Almost Better Than The Game Itself
2. Rayman Legends
There are too few games out there that are designed absolutely perfectly for couch co-op. Rayman Legends is certainly one of them, featuring our floaty-limbed hero Rayman, his surprisingly aerodynamic companion Globox, and a whole host of adorable playable characters. Up to four players can share a screen and work together to travel through the puzzle platformer and save all of the kidnapped Teensies.
As if being able to control the characters during a loading wasn’t enough, the Xbox 360 and PS3 generations of Rayman Legends, as well as the switch port, also give another little incentive to hold your attention during these usually boring waiting periods. While waiting to zone into a level, players are treated to a mad dash to collect a heart bottle that will essentially award them a second life for the upcoming level. Get ready to slap your little sister in the face if she thinks she’s getting to that bottle before you. I mean in the game of course. Of course I do.
