19. Deus Ex Franchise

Aexpa Sequel aside, both Deus Ex and its prequel titled Human Revolution are bold sci-fi stories juxtaposing the good of technological progress against the evils that come from living in a world too advanced. Aside from expanding on pioneered stealth action gameplay there is also a dialogue tree far more in-depth than most RPG's full of decisions that carry heavy weight. Deus Ex features a rich universe with its games containing multiple endings, each showing the positives and negatives of your actions towards important choices usually revolving around technology. Deus Ex is a more bold and calculated creation of themes of corporate greed that movies such as Robocop nailed.

18. Shadow Of The Colossus

Shadowofthecolossus Movie Similar to its spiritual successor Ico, Shadeow of the Colossus presented a fairly minimalistic story centered on a young boy named Wander who ventured out into a vast landscape with his horse Agro to slay the 16 aforementioned mythical towering beasts. It was all done with the hope of bringing a mysterious girl (yet clearly someone dear to his heart) back from the dead. The iconic moment however that forced many grown men to cry is the collapsing bridge scene where Agro sacrifices herself hurling Wander to safety.

Batman Ac Slider Licensed games in the modern era of gaming are mostly terrible and shameless cash-ins without a glimpse of soul. What Rocksteady has done with Batman and this franchise however bucks the trend with extremely satisfying combat and narratives. It takes some truly finesse writing and directing to weave an abundant amount of iconic characters including Joker, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, and more into one cohesive and excellently paced story where no one's existence is filler. Nobody will ever forget Batman carrying a lifeless Joker corpse outside of an abandoned factory. It's a beautifully striking and symbolic image showcasing just how much the two rivals need each other deep down, and a poignantly beautiful ending to the game that ranks up with the best Batman stories out there.
