6 Fighters That Need To Be In Injustice 2
1. Spawn
Ed Boon has thrown around the idea of guest characters appearing in Injustice 2 more than once over the past two months, and whilst it would seem his definition of "guest" translates to "characters from Mortal Kombat", many are still holding out for the inclusion of a character outside of both universes.
A lot of fans hope that one of these guest slots could be a character from Alan Moore's Watchmen, which would make sense considering DC are currently in the process of integrating the characters into the DC universe. A lot of fans are also hoping for Hellboy, but he is by no means the most popular choice.
Seemingly in a bid to put this all to rest, Ed Boon took to twitter before the release of Injustice 2 to ask the fans which "Non-MK Guest Character" should be included in the game. Surprisingly, to me at least, the winner by a large margin was none other than Spawn, an Image Comics character created by Todd McFarlane. McFarlane actually proposed in an interview with GamerFitNation (which has seemingly disappeared from the internet, but has been re-uploaded in part by NG4) that Spawn be a guest character in the original Injustice. Considering that was more than four years ago now, it's no stretch to assume Ed and Todd might have been in contact since.
