7 Devices You Won't Believe You Can Play Video Games On

3. A Printer

It’s only going to get weirder from this point on. Printers are an indispensable part of our office lives. Very simply put, any business will likely come to halt if all its printers stopped working. They are used for printing documents, churning out invitation cards, playing games?

Apparently yes because the folks over at Context Information Security, or more specifically a research named Michael Jordan, managed to hack a Canon printer and used the modified device to run the all-time classic first person shooter, Doom.

Needless to say it was a rather complicated process involving various changes being made to the firmware. Apparently the whole thing was part of a study meant to highlight the dangers of such devices that can connect to the internet.

Regardless of whether or not it actually led to any improvements in printers, Mr. Jordan certainly scored some very high points with gaming and tech-head communities.
