7 Insanely Powerful Joke Video Game Characters

Three words: MASSIVE.BONE.DAMAGE.

Who doesn't love a good video game joke character?

From classics like Dan Hibiki all the way to Zote from Hollow Knight who literally can't hurt you, it's nice to see video games taking their foot off the gas every once in a while, serving up roster members with pathetic stats, useless skills or a DNA code made of pure buffoonery just so they can have a laugh with the player.

Sure it's usually a giggle at the expense of these characters but it's mostly done with a good-natured wink and a nod.

That said, sometimes the final punch line isn't that these figures of ridicule are dumpster-level combatants or party members, but that in the right hands, they can be utterly devastating! There's nothing quite like watching the once smug faces of your friends fall when you select a laughable loser of a fighter and then proceed to utterly mop the floor with them.

From game-breaking exploits, to one-of-a-kind skills, these characters are tired of being the butt of the joke and are now going to utterly whoop yours!

7. Poo Snake - Blue Dragon

Ok, I know what you're thinking.

A snake. Made from poo. With wee little booties on and a mouth on its coiled turd of a tummy? This foe is going to get absolutely flushed in short order right?

Well, hold on their my friend, because while the design of this pink puree enemy might cause confusion and laughter, this little stinker is hiding a rather horrible and deadly secret.

You see, while individual poo snakes are easy to wipe up, they have a rather nasty ability to call for help with their default "attack" Summon Allies, which pulls more and more poo particles together into a horrible clump.

If you can't stop the deluge of droppings then unfortunately it might be you who is s**t out of luck as when the Poo Snakes reach critical mass, they'll transform into a Jumbo Poo Snake, which normally only exists as a secret boss found much later into the game.

As a result, an unwary party might end up being absolutely dumped on by this large and in charge snake very early on in their adventure, an experience which may indeed see you need to change your trousers.
