8 Things Nintendo NX Will Do Better Than PS4 & Xbox One
5. NX Says Relax
We're all older, we're all wiser (we didn't fall for that Jon Snow plot twist for a second) and essentially, we're not children anymore. After a long day at work, it's great to flick your brain off and console on, but immediately you'll be faced with insane levels of depth from Metal Gear, epic amounts of lore from The Witcher, or baffling amounts of options in Fallout 4. They're all tremendous, but they're ensuring our brains stay alert and frantic even when you'd really rather wind down. Nintendo won't be presenting gritty, grisly storylines or endless intense moments. You'll actually be able to switch off, legitimately unwind and still work your way through a sublimely fun game. Take Mario, for example. Sure the next Mario Galaxy could be improved with rapid-fire automatic weapons, but I'd be more than content hopping around the planets soaking up gorgeous graphics and having actual fun, without overloading my brain with pyrotechnics and "Hoo-rah!" soundbites.
