8 Video Game Products We NEED In Real Life
2. Gravity Gun - Half-Life 2
Now, this entry was a tricky toss-up between Portal's Portal Gun and Half-Life 2's Gravity Gun, but the latter ended up winning out because it'd just be so much more useful on an everyday, around-the-house basis.
As mind-blowing as the Portal Gun is, it can only be used on certain surfaces, and you also need to be within visible proximity of the location you want to create a portal to - though as Portal 2 proved, you can take an express trip to the moon if you want.
Back to the Gravity Gun, though, which even in its "weakest" form harbours the amazing ability to effortlessly lift up objects, bring them towards you, and even fire them as projectiles.
Never again will you struggle to grab a can of baked beans from the top shelf at the supermarket, and moving house just got way more fun.
Though the regular version of the Gravity Gun struggles to lift heavier objects like cars, its super-charged equivalent seen later in the game is capable of so much more.
The Gravity Gun would be such an extremely useful tool, but also something to make us all so, so much lazier.
