9 Disastrous Mistakes That Killed Star Wars Battlefront 2
4. Saying Cosmetic Options Would "Violate Star Wars Canon"
One HELL of a back-pedal if ever there was one (especially seeing as leaks have shown cosmetic DLC is now coming), DICE's brilliant reason Battlefront 2 had to have performance upgrades in its crates instead of cosmetics?
Why, because EA didn't want to "violate the canon" of Star Wars with aesthetics, of course.
I mean, of course. It's not like having Rey fighting alongside Darth Maul does that, and it's certainly not like every single Star Wars character has had a different costume in every single movie, either.
